Aaaarghh! Just finished a walking survey of my immediate neighborhood shopping area. Four blocks one direction and back. 40% of the businesses are restaurants (good) and 90+ are pasta shops (read patisserie, read bakery/sweet shops) — my waistline is doomed. (bad, really bad)
Two more photos of the street market. The photos represent about 5% of the shops along the street. Vegetables, fruits, meats, flowers, you name it, probably there. Also clothing and household goods.
Now they tell me! I don’t have to pay to ride the bus, tram, or subway. There are some benefits of being 65+. Just have to get an id card (or may be, it is an ID card). Can you get an ego card?
Scratch the toilet count. One doesn’t work and the other leaks mightily onto the floor. Working on it. Well, what I mean is that I’m attempting to get the landlord to fix them.
Oh, it really is uphill this time. Really, really uphill. I’ll get, I think, cable internet next week. I’ll post the video of me trying to go uphill. Luckily, it is downhill on the way back to the street.
Just completed moving into my new apartment. I have two bedrooms, four wardrobes, two toilets, two balconies, and two electrical outlets.
